Question:
Can someone help me with my situation involving copyright infringement?

Ok, so it all started with a project for my 8th grade U.S. History teacher. For the project, my class was split in half and each half was the campaign team for either John Quincy Adams or Andrew Jackson. I was put in Andrew Jackson's team and I was put in charge of making the Ads going against John Quincy Adams and and positive ad for Andrew Jackson.

This is were the copyright infringement comes in. At the end of the project, my teacher is going to have his 7th grade class to come in and vote so as a way to make everything seem official I made a Facebook page that was going to have all of the negative ads I made on it. I'm new to Facebook so when one of my videos didn't load, I tried it again and again and again and again. By the end of the fifth time I decided to figure out why my video wasn't loading. That's when I found out that my ability to upload videos was taken away due to copyright infringement. When i saw that I instantly when to Yahoo!Answers to try to find a way how to get my ability to upload videos back because my entire group (about 17 people) are counting on the Facebook page so then we can get the votes of the 7th grade audience. I read that if I fill out the Counter Notification page they sent to my email then I would get the ability back. I'm tempted to do that but then I see that there is a part that ask for telephone number and an address which kinda makes me worry that if I send in the Counter Notification then next thing you know, a Facebook attorney is knocking on my door and my dad has to represent me in a court of law ( my dad's a lawyer, just so you know. now that I think about it, this is actually his yahoo answers account I'm using to ask this very question, hmm). I also read that I can embed a video from YouTube on to Facebook and I won't get in trouble for it but I don't know if i will be able to because my video posting abilities are taken away and plus I would have to beg my sister if I can borrow her YouTube account which she will probably say no anyways.

Can someone please help me figure out this situation so I won't let down 17 of my classmates and I'll be able to put videos on Facebook?

Fair use of copyrighted materials for educational purposes is limited to showing the work publicly one time in an educational setting. Since Facebook is classified as a public forum and any videos uploaded to the site can be viewed multiple times, fair use cannot be claimed for educational purposes. The same goes for uploading the videos to YouTube. You will have to find another way to show your videos to the class.

I strngly suspect a troll, since Facebook does not send lawyers to your house over such an issue. If they have, your copyright issues are extreme, and have nothing to do with this project.

A sensible person would just ask another of the '17 people' to post the work.

Do what any honest person would do and give them a fake address and telephone number.
