If your thesis work is done mostly off of the back of another student who you do site by name verbally to qualify your expertise of your research. If the aesthetics of the presentation were copied.

Is that considered plagiarism.? or is that just drawing inspiration?

Plagiarism is the correct word. If you use other sources, there should be a variety of them to support your own thesis, which should be original.
