Employees have their rights such as personal privacy but when they work for an business, the business has a code of conduct. One of them might be monitoring the employees computers to ensure they are working but this also invades employees personal privacy. So how would these both be balanced within the law?

What other ways can a business ensure employees are doing their work without having issues with personal privacy or business code of conduct?

A company monitoring their network and computers is standard practise.

It has nothing to do with personal privacy as the network and computers belong to the company and should ONLY be used for company business.

properly, capri's of any type and sleeveless (even without cleavage) are quite informal, surprisingly for somebody out interior the sector, so the dress code sounds quite versatile. So it style of feels that this new worker appeared around and felt her outfit, mutually as very distinctive from yours needless to say, become on some point, resembling what others placed on regardless of the incontrovertible fact that needless to say you and the administrator felt in any different case. some people - and there look a minimum of one in each workplace, would desire to have each nuance observed for them so possibly a workplace memo is so as reminding people that tight, animal prints, heels, and so on at the instant are not suited workplace outfits.

You can monitor their time they come in or leave with time clocks. Time clocks keep employees from coming in late or leaving early. Also, you could monitor their computers, telephones and email.
