people really believe that wanting to go out and party is a good motive for Casey to Murder her child?

I have to say that, that is a pretty sorry motive for someone who lives with there parents... I mean she wasn't even living by herself... the prosecution couldn't come up with anything better than that.

Am I the only one who thinks consitering her circumstance's and living situation that, that is a dumb motive for someone to want to murder their child.

even with the pictures of her going out for 31 days after i still dont believe that would be a reason.

like i said i think it was an accident and she was living her life normally to cover it up... people say why cover up an accident well because there where to parents in florida who got 20 years for their kids accidental drowning in a pool not to long before the incident... but that wasnt brought up in the case and that is a huge reason to try and cover it up.your honest and mature thoughts please.

I think the media did far too good a job of painting the worst possible picture of this woman - and well, i do not condone any of her actions. There's a lot we don't know about what happened, and the prosecution didn't have enough solid evidence - solid meaning incontrovertible. While we may believe one thing, there's insufficient proof, and that's why the jury found her not guilty. And yea, I think that is a dumb motive to want to murder her child.



But you know, I've seen worse. I studied nursing in NYC, and had to deal with parents who couldn't stand their kid crying so they put her in a pot and cooked her. There's a lot of stupid thinking out there. And I also had a former male friend who had been married with 3 small children when his wife ran off with them - and in that time she got so sick of their demands that she abandoned the kids, ran off with another guy and they were alone for a month to fend for themselves - at the ages of 4, 6 and 8. He was able to track her down with a PI and found them hiding out near starving in the house where she left them. Those kids took a long time to recover from that abuse. That woman's excuse was she simply wanted to party and the kids were demanding too much - wanting food and things like that.



There is no valid excuse, but it sadly does not amaze me to hear the justification people make - to their minds any excuse is enough for them. Yeah, it may have been an accident - people lie like crazy to cover up something they think they will get blamed for.

Oh, yeah. You live long enough and you'll meet a young women or two who had no idea that a baby would put such a big dent in their social lives. For some reason they thought babies would just love and love their mommies like little dollies. They seem to have never learned that a child is completely dependent on parents. Their kids usually end up living with their parents while they go out because they're just too young to miss doing all the fun things.

NO innocent mother is going to wait an entire month before reporting their child missing. Oh wait...Casey DIDN'T report her child missing. The GRANDPARENTS did. I have six kids, and if ANY of them missed their curfew no shorter than 30 minutes, you'd better believe that I'm calling 911! But in regards to Casey Anthony, well, as much as I hate to say this, there WASN'T enough evidence to convict her. Too bad for Caylee.

The grandmother refused to care for the child so the mother had go drag the child everywhere including her new boyfriend's house which was perhaps a mood killer so she killed her and then proceeded to party hardy, no mother would be doing jello shots and dancing a day after her child drowned (if we are stupid enough to believe that) plus what is the point of putting tape all over a drowned child's face??? No one believes that's an acceptable motive. All people on here are saying is that since there's no hard evidence supporting the idea that Casey murdered her child, it wouldn't be right to charge her with murder/manslaughter.

THERE IS NO REASON TO EVER KILL YOUR OWN CHILD. NEVER. THAT IS SO WRONG IS EVERY WAY. SHE COULD HAVE GIVEN HER BABY UP FOR ADOPTION, OR EVEN AS BAD AS IT SOUNDS LEFT HER ON THE STREETS, ANYTHING BUT TAKING THAT POOR, INNOCENT, BEAUTIFUL BABY GIRLS LIFE AWAY.
