Can I sue my brother for getting me three points on my class a license?

I want to sue my brother because he got me three points on my class a commercial license and I was not ok for him to use it. He's a greddy kid ddnt even give me a dime when he knew he was guilty of getting me those points on my record. It's been a year since he got me those points so I can I still sue him? He left jobless because I was about to get a job a good job FedEx as a driver, I was torn apart because I had my truck and school loan to pay.

So you either let you brother use you license or he did it without your knowledge. If it is the former you are just as guilty as he is. If the latter you should have done something about this long ago. And since you didn't you failed to mitigate damages which will leave you with no civil recourse.

How did HE get you points on your license? Did he steal it from you or did you give it to him to use? It's not an ID for him it's an ID for you. If you willingly gave it to him then you are **** out of luck. If he stole it then you may sue him for the amount to pay the ticket and you could probably get him in legal trouble for that. Does he look a lot like you to get away with using your ID?

You let him use your license? That is illegal. You should consider yourself lucky that your license wasn't suspended for allowing someone else to use it.



You "can" sue.... you can sue anyone for anything. You just wont win
