In class I whispered a joke to my friend. We were both sent to the Principal's office for this. Did we deserve it?

No u didn't I mean if u were screaming it across the room to ur friend then yeah I see y but otherwise no and it depends if it was a dirty joke and if u were or weren't talking while the teacher or someone was talking

Okay, I have many experience with this. It all depends if you were warned more then once, if you were then yes. But if its just out of the blue I don't think so. I do the same thing and if a teacher did that without any warning of any kind whatsoever then its super messed up. Also it could depend if you are the biggest trouble make. ;)

If the class has been interrupted before and the teacher warned everyone in the past then yeah. Also depends on how you usually act. If she's had to talk to you before then yeah you deserve it. Respecting your teacher is important for the entire class' success.

NO!!

If the teacher heard you, and the remark was offensive, yah.

But just for whispering? No.

In America, when life isn't fair, you sue.

Gotta love stereotypes, 'cause they are so real ;]

Can't really respond to your question because I don't know if you are telling the full truth.

yes because you were disrupting the class and what the teacher was teaching.
