My neighbor has been committing fraud for over a year in government funded housing. Her boyfriend who is not on the lease has been living with her over a year, and has 2 incomes in a month. She is paying rent only on the ssi she receives for her son(which could also be considered fraud because she does not report to social security admin. that she has more income, and her boyfriend living with her) The housing that i live in still has not done anything about this fraud, even though we have to sign many papers pertaining to the degree of punishment and eviction for fraud. What should be done if they continue to allow her to steal from the government and take from people that need low-income housing..what would you do?

Were you to report the fraud you may be eligible for a reward for doing so if you follow the instructions to the letter for doing so. I will give you the web site for you to learn how to do this. The phone numbers and other information is on the web site which makes it easy to learn what to do and how to do it. It is entirely possible the FBI or the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) will get involved and charges will be brought against those involved and they will go to trial and if convicted will go to a Federal prison. You are entitled to the reward so I suggest you not tell others or others will complain and there will be multiple claimants for the reward and the reward won't be given in that case. I would complain and make sure I followed the correct methods to claim the reward and keep my mouth shut and not tell anyone other than the government investigators. Since the housing where you live hasn't done anything about this fraud you will need to go above their heads and the web site will give you that opportunity. Good luck to you and I wish you the best.

you will possibly shop the taxpayer greater earnings case you investigated your MP as thoroughly. Phew, happy I`m no longer your neighbour. The labour government love human beings such as you, who're the hot British stasi, reporting each and every physique to the council. Does she positioned the incorrect rubbish in her recycle bin too? I`d report her for that too!! you're so petty, worrying because of the fact her safety easy is left on at evening. And thinking how lots which will fee. Get a existence. and honestly, she is permitted to have somebody staying for 3 nights each and every week. it won't impact her earnings, cos they might`t class it that he lives together with her. i'm no longer on earnings, I even have worked all my existence. So, no, she isn't committing housing earnings fraud. The stasi is alive and nicely and thriving interior the united kingdom. The stasi have been, are, informers to the government and state.

If she is receiving SSI on behalf of her son, it is very likely that she is not required to report to SSI anything about HER income. If SHE is receiving benefits for herself, this would be a different story. If she is committing SS fraud, I would report her. http://www.ssa.gov/oig/public_fraud_reporting/index.htm

I would report the violations to HUD. http://www.bgky.org/hcd/pdf/section8obligations.pdf

You can't do this anonymously though. If you genuinely want something done, you have to affirmatively step up and be willing to testify.

How do you know what her finances are? How do you know that she hasn't reported this to the SSI office? I used to care about this kind of thing but then I realize that who really cares. If its not going to her then its going to some illegal somewhere to send home.
