ok lucky 50 and everyone else thanks but i thought i did get my point across. Again i ask if you have to do a third of six years, plus you get credit for working which i beieve is 2 for 1 on work release in addition to that they have a good time law that you can get time off your sentence as well and last but not least you as a first offender have a chance to get out on early release too. So if a third of six is two and you get two for one on work detail @ AFTER THAT FACT THEN COMES GOOD TIME LAW EARLY RELEASE (POSSIBLY) hOW MUCH TIME IS THAT?

Time and early release are issues that will present and reveal themselves during the process....I know that sucks to hear, but if you get in there and understand why this happened to you---do the time---when it's time for you to leave, the Board will see it and you find your freedom from the whole situation.....It takes a lot of humbling and self-realization and forgiveness to overcome all this...so go into it asking what purpose you serve by being there and going through all this...who can you help besides yourself.

Every state is different and you find out when you get in when you are eligible for the Board hearing.....make the most of every moment until then~~~~Good Luck! And you will survive!!!!!

The bottom line here is the parole board needs to see and believe you have learned you lesson and have rehabilitated yourself. Doing time on the outside is just the same as doing time on the inside, except for which side of the bars your on.

Unless you experience a real change in your attitude, you may get to be on the "outside" of the bars for a time, but you won't ever be free. Ever.

I mean no disrespect to you or any one. Please think about this. It is the first step to getting out and staying out. And I hope that happens for you. Best of luck.
