Impossible to prove a negative fact. But I can assure you, I regularly do not forward anything merely because someone tells me I will have bad luck. And, the last time I looked, I was still alive. Oh, I've got dental issues, age issues, I'm old and take meds for cholesterol, but I still have 125/75 blood pressure at 72 beats.
Get a grip. All this social networking is giving people a common sense of identity. Can't be "different" from every other of my 18,000 "best friends." ... Relax, chain letters are pointless

Totally man, just read the chain letter. Man I have died like 100 times over because I don't have 10 names in my address book on my one email and got a chain letter. Since I couldn't pass it on to at least 10 new people by midnight I have to die once a month or something. Yeah they make up that people die. Just like they make up that BS about oh AOL(or any other group) is tracking how often it is passed on and donating money to that family for every time the email is passed on. I understand a lot of people bought in to that, and that's why it passed on, but it was never true.

No, there is no way not passing on a chain letter can in anyway cause you to die. Have people died at some point after not passing them on? Sure, When I die I will have not passed on many chain letters.

No. No one has died or had anything bad happen to them or experienced any kind of bad luck because they didn't relay a chain letter or email.

Of course not. Chain letters are utter rubbish.
All death chain letters are made up by sick pranksters.
