Hi. So my friends, one turned 18 today & the other is turning 17 in a week, they both drink wine. I'm going to call the younger one VP & the older JG. Okay so I went over to VP's house & I thought her dad wasn't home & (they're next door neighbors) JG's mom wasn't home, so they were both sitting on the couch watching the movie and drinking a glass of wine. They are like super best friends and I'm more popular so at first I thought they were just trying to look cool. But then VP's dad walked in & said hi to her & JG and introduced himself to me & then he poured himself a glass of wine & went to his bedroom, he didn't say anything to either of them. Then JG's mom came a bit later & did the same exact thing except she drank a glass then left. I called them out & Valor said she was French & Joey was Italian & like Joey speaks pure Italian at home & Valor speaks pure French at home like they are very into their home countries but they were both born in the U.S. & neither have been to France/Italy but they're going in June & they're aloud to drink small amounts of wine at home & it's just normal to them & they can drink in France/Italy but we're not in France/Italy. I don't think it's right that their parents let them do that. Like they don't even have French/Italian names. Sometimes they have wine with dinner & **** & I think it's wrong it's illegal here & Valor said her dad doesn't let her drink outside of the house (I guess Joey too) so wtf??? I think it's wrong like I'm (cont)

Everyone has a small amount of alcohol in their body from only eating food. Fermentation naturally occurs in the human gut so even someone who claims they are alcohol free does not know the human digestive system.

Stop posting the same question. The U.S. drinking age is 21 for all present in the country. Some locations have limited exceptions for minors drinking alcohol under certain conditions, such as if they're at home with parental supervision.

Yes, it is. You've posted this nonsense several times, and it has been reported.

It is correct that the minor drinking is illegal in this country. It also is accurate that culturally, they have been exposed to the thinking of their parents. However.. my opinion is that you are over reacting, and spreading your objection to issues that have nothing to do with small amounts of alcohol.

Age of consent laws for all sorts of things do not apply here. In some countries the age of consent for sex is lower. It doesn't matter when you're here because you're subject to that state's laws.

In the US, it is illegal for minors to drink, the exception is that parents can serve to their children in their own home

It does not matter your nationality

If they are in our country they are subject to our laws...Same as if we're in their country

The only exception is if they are in the country on diplomatic status...They are subjected to the same laws but are deported to their country to be tried in their courts
