Ok so this January i got a ticket for expired tags and no license plates. I got a letter in the mail saying I have to pay 600$ but I never did. So today I checked my ticket and it says my court date was march 11 and I thought it was april 11. What do I do? I'm 18 btw and this is my first ticket while driving. Do you think I have a warrant and my license is suspended?

Don't listen to these negative *** folks. Just call the court office and tell come them that you missed your court date because you had an emergency visit to the doctor the day of. After that, just go to your court office and provide documentation explaining why you missed your court date. The same thing happened to me and I just provided a doctor's note and they rescheduled my court date. I didn't get any fees or penalties.

They will only issue a warrant if it has been over a week.

Just go tomorrow and provide a doctors note to the courthouse clerk.

Crazy things always happen unexpectedly.

People make mistakes, you'll be good.

Let me know if you need a doctor's note template.

You at least have a warrant out for your arrest and have incurred more fines.

You are probably going to go to jail and fined $200
