I told her no that s not going to happen , you seen the stove while I was there and I felt if she didn t want it she could have told me then. Well she knows my address because before I dropped it off to her she was suppose to pick it but didn t have a the vehical to do it blah blah. Anyways am I I m the wrong for not giving her money bk?

No

She needs to buy from a store with waranty

You should calculate your travel cost and fuel etc. If she wants it returned she should pay your costs. Make it 50 bucks. She'll let it slide.

No, you are not in the wrong. She is in the wrong - expecting her money back on ca CL transaction. Tell her that if she wanted a returnable stove with a guarantee, she should have bought new at Costco or Sears. And, it would not hurt to tell her again that it IS the same stove as in the photo. How many stoves does she think you have?

Why don't you take the stove back and give her her money? It isn't really a matter of right and wrong. It's a matter of being nice enough and flexible enough to let someone change their mind about something they bought. Stores give people 30 days in which to change their minds - why don't you do the same?

You can always put it back on Craigslist again - only this time take a better, clearer photo of it.

Even if she can prove the stove is nothing like what was in the ad, as long as she had the opportunity to look at it before paying, she has ZERO legal recourse.

It doesn't even matter if you looked at the stove. If she had the opportunity, she got EXACTLY what she paid for.

no you aren't wrong...but it's 100 bucks. why hassle. tell her if she brings back the stove in the same condition. You'll give her back the money. She won't and you'll be good to go.

You owe her nothing, it's her stove now and her problem. She should have spoken up when you showed up.

From the information given, I don't think you are in the wrong. Probably it's just a case of buyer's remorse.

The transaction is final.. You owe her nothing. She can sell it if she doesn't like it.

Sales are "as is". Unless she can proove that it was not the same stove that was advertised, she doesn't have any recourse
