I don't know if it's abuse, exactly, but it is spam... Just report it as spam, and whatever you do DON'T send them info.

My advice for what it is worth. She should change her profile settings to private, no email and no im. I have done this and I am a middle aged married woman. It may benefit her to have a change in name. For those who state that a 15 year old has no business on the site may I remind that the minimum age is 13 therefore all answers should be keeping that in mind. Current Events are nowhere near as volatile as Religion and Spirituality where there are differing Christians fighting among themselves and then joining together to argue against those who have no belief in an organised faith BUT feel they do have a spirituality. Words and Words play get a lot of queries from teens normally homework related on grammar and spelling or sentence construction. The teens find themselves slated when they insist on using slang expressions and text spelling to ask or answer queries. (what can one expect when you are on the section devoted to the beauty of the language). Everyone has the right to report answers that are abusive and adult in nature or asking about anything in sexually explicit terms. To the best of my knowledge NO Top Contributor can cause another to be banned from the site that is up to The YA Customer Service People. It takes two people to cause an answer to be removed or a question to be removed. Two separate people no matter who they are must click the report button and complete the online complaint form then and only then will a query or answer be looked at by The YA Team. For confirmation see YA Community Guidelines

There are thousands of emails like this one in which the recepient is told of some money that is within their control or could be within their control if they will just respond to the email with some basic information. Life teaches us that there is no such thing as a fund of money that is offered to anyone by an email that refers to something the recepient knows nothing about. While I don't know a thing about this one, I can say with clarity that while this may not be abuse, it is fraudulent. One thing you can do is NOT respond.

It's a scam, period .You didn’t enter a lottery, and YAHOO isn’t running a lottery. All you are going to win is an empty bank account and more trouble than you ever dreamed of. Possibly a “courier” bill for a few thousand to “deliver” a “prize” you’ll never see.g. If you want to bother, forward the fraudulent email to phishing@cc.yahoo-inc.com, spam@uce.gov, and 419.fcd@usss.treas.gov.

Yes, its spam. If its any concilation they haven't directed it at you personally - they've just sent out millions of letters to randomly generated address. Don't reply what ever you do - it'll just make it worse as they know that yours is a live email and it'll be sold onto other spammers.

Check the header first to make sure it actually is from a Yahoo account; if so, forward to phishing@cc.yahoo-inc.com.
