Marijuana Seeds in WI., U.S.A.?

The other day someone asked me about ordering marijuana seeds. I've never ordered anything like that and don't plan to unless it is legalized. I live in wisconsin, U.S. and I was wondering if it is illegal to possess seeds (seed only, but not to grow) I was thinking, could someone order seeds and keep them until one day when marijuana becomes legal? If anyone has info please let me know. I just want to know if it is ok to buy marijuana seeds and hang on to them until it becomes legal?

It has been my experience that ANYTHING connected with an illegal substance, ie marijuana seeds, are considered illegal also. With everything computerized, they might just get your name from the internet for ordering them, who knows? I know they have tracked people down from ordering cigarettes out of the country and forced them to pay the tax on it, so, I just wouldnt risk it for the seeds. And why hang on to them until it is legal? When it becomes legal, I am sure you will be able to buy the entire plant, plus seeds without worrying about getting in trouble.
