OJ Simpson wrote a book entitled, If I Did It.

Would you be interested in hearing from OJ Simpson his tale of the murders?

Simpson to Discuss How He'd Have Killed Ex-Wife

By EDWARD WYATT, The New York Times

LOS ANGELES (Nov. 14) - O. J. Simpson, who was acquitted 11 years ago in the 1994 death of his wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend Ronald L. Goldman has written a book and will appear on television telling “how he would have committed the murders if he were the one responsible,” his publisher and the Fox television network said on Tuesday.

O.J. Simpson still owes restitution to the families Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman, as decided in a civil trial that found him responsible for their deaths. It is not clear if royalties from the sale of his new book will go toward that payment.

Are you surprised by what OJ Simpson is doing and should monies from the sale of the book go to the families of the victims as outlined in the civil case?

Not going to waste my time and money on that piece of sh*@, he should have been blown off the highway when they were in pursuit. I bet if that pursuit was just a regular person, they would not have gotten two miles.

I think OJ is a very sick man. Monies from the sale of this book should all go to the victim's family. I will not read the book because I believe OJ did it and should be behind bars.

That is funny. Everyone knows he did it and now he's going to write a book about it.

You know what makes me sick? Even if he DIDN"T do it, what kind of man would write a book about the murder of his "beloved" wife pretending to be the killer?!? I mean, seriously! I know if I was killed in a grisley murder, my husband sure wouldn't write some perverted tale about how he would have done it!! Anybody who still thinks the man is innocent should consider, if nothing else, his mindset and motives to writing this book.

I wouldn't read it nor would I buy it!

I don't believe that OJ or anyone else should profit from the death of others.

Is this a safe way to attempt to confess or clear his conscious?????
2006-11-15 10:53:57 UTC
I wonder if he was stupid enough to explain in detail how they actually died, since we all already know that he did it.
2006-11-15 10:51:28 UTC
If he was standing in my front yard I'd draw the drapes. I'm not surprised at his arrogance and money-making schemes at all. He sure spent a lot of time finding the "real" murderers, as he swore he would do, didn't he? The man is despicable.

OJ moved to Florida for a reason. Florida is one of those states that lets you protect your assests from creditors. They can not garner income nor foreclose on the house he lives in. If he was out on a default student loan, or owed child support, they could garner ini Florida but not take the house. But proceeds from a court judgement? Nope.

The News Corporation, a major media group, says it has canceled publication of a controversial book by former athlete and actor O.J. Simpson, who was acquitted in 1995 of charges that he killed his former wife and a companion.

The corporation said it is canceling the book, titled, If I did It, as well as a television special featuring an interview with Simpson.

News Corporation chairman Rupert Murdoch said today the project was ill-considered. He apologized to the families of the murder victims, Ronald Goldman and Simpson's former wife, Nicole Brown Simpson.

News that Simpson authored a book about how he would have committed murder sparked new controversy. Several television stations affiliated with News Corporation's Fox Broadcasting said they would not air the TV special.

Although Simpson was acquitted, he was later found guilty in a civil trial and ordered to pay the victims' families $33.5 million.

Fred Goldman, Ronald Goldman's father, speaking on CNN television, urged people not to buy the book or watch the interview.

Goldman's relatives said they would pursue legal options to claim any revenues from the book.

Simpson was accused of the murders after neighbors found the bodies of Goldman and Brown Simpson on June 14, 1994 in front of Brown Simpson's home in Los Angeles. They had been stabbed several times and Brown Simpson's throat slashed.

Millions of Americans watched Simpson's first trial on television. His legal team painted the Los Angeles police department as biased against blacks.

Simpson has always maintained his innocence.

I can not beleive that turned into a race trial and he got off it is sick and sad and everyone knows he did it go to this link and you can see the real phots of Nichole & Ron the day of the killings

I don't pay much attention to what the celebrities are doing, and even less about what some dumb creep is writing. Is this a sign that he doesn't have much brains if he's writing about how he would have killed them? Simpson, that's your wife, for crying out loud! And you want to make money off the two deaths?

Ja, the profit should go to the families, however many parts of the royalty as stated on paper. It's part of the law, and if you were above it once, I hope you wouldn't get away with it this time.

But if I were a family member, I'd be ashamed to receive such blood-money. Probably not even to cover the burial costs.

I have always been someone who likes to be educated on the criminal mind. Serial killers and other deviants have always intrigued me because I can't quite understand why someone would commit such heinous crimes.

So yes I will be watching the OJ special only to serve my sick curiosity on this matter. I in no way agree with what happened and I do think he did it and got away with it only because he was a "star".

Deviants come in all shapes & sizes, they aren't necessarily the sad little boys who tortured the neighbors cat. Think of John Wayne Gacy...he was a stand out member of the community, boy scout leader & city councel person and how many people did they find buried under his house?

Any monetary means from any crime should have the funds going directly to the victems families. No matter if said person is found guilty or not, even if an outsider writes a book about it.

As a society we are inthralled with tragedy...look how long Jon Bonet's picture was on every magazine at the grocery store. Let the victems rest in peace where they no longer have to worry about crazy people and what happened to them.

O.J. Simpson is absolutely psychopathic. But then again so is our legal system. He has a civil judgment against him for like $30 million which I don't believe he's paid a cent. Why would he write a I-didn't-kill-my-wife-but-if-I- did-here's-how-I'd-do-it book? Money! He'll make alot off of it and the victim's families won't see a penny from it. There's a reason he moved to Florida, the butthole of the country.

OJ Simpson should have all of his assets liquidated and all earnings garnished until the civil judgment decided against him is paid in full.

All those who profit from the murders should be required to allocate a large portion of their earnings to the Nicole Brown Charitable Foundation, or organizations fighting domestic violence, morality in broadcasting and journalism, or other issues.

Why is it that everyone is mad at O.J. about this book? If we should be upset with anyone, it is society. Why do people want to read this book and hear his story on TV? When I was little, I remember my parents talking about the mentality of people in our society. They said that if there was an Elvis concert on one side of the road and a public hanging on the other, and both were free, that more people would go to the hanging than the concert. I believe this theory is true seeing as how people got so caught up in the O.J. trial, Michel Jackson trial and Kobe Bryant case.

you ever get leather wet.. if you have, you know it has a tendency to shrink.

In the tv series - heat of the night - Mr Simpson was murdered, much in the same fashion that his wife was. They held this program back, until after the trail. Had the public been aware of it, I'm sure Mr Simpson would have found himself behind bars.

He's going to give an account of how they were murder, if he had don it himself. IF he had done it.. sorry, but I still believe he had done it.

Anything that comes from this, should go to the victims family, NOT Mr Simpson!

Jesus' resurrection replaced into witnessed through over 2 hundred human beings. maximum of whom were nevertheless alive at the same time as the gospels were written. So, in the adventure that they tried to manufacture it, then they could were stoned through others(as replaced into the custom on the time). seek for, your reaction to MRTZMK is blind. each of the books that initiate with a million or 2, are letters, they don't look to be even recordings of Jesus' life, yet what human beings are saying to others. lots of those are witting of their life time, after Jesus' resurrection. many written between 40-80AD. to declare that, i ought to to boot declare "Even your human being evolutionary scholars can't agree of at the same time as the earth replaced into first shaped"

No I would not be interested in reading it. I personally think he is guilty of the crimes. If he didnt do it then he paid someone to do it. Why would you write a book explaining how you would kill someone if you were innocent of the crime? He just wants the attention since no one seems to care about him anymore. To bad double jeopardy exists because this should be a case where it isnt applied.

OJ was, is and will continue to be guilty of murder...he most likely will never pay for his crimes here on earth...but he will pay later!

I would not spend a dime to read his account of the murders he committed...and yes the families should reap monetary benefits from his book and any monies he receives from promoting it - but it will not happen. He is a proficient liar and crook.

I am in no way surprised by O.J.'s audacity - after all - he got by with murder didn't he? And now, as so many other infamous murderers before him, he hopes to capitalize on his crimes.

I would be no more interested in hearing let alone reading his rendition of his murderous escapades. Let Nicole and Ron rest in as much peace as our Judicial system has permitted them. God bless their families and friends.

I am a firm believer in "what goes around comes around" and one day it will be O.J.'s turn.

i would not be in the least bit interested. Furthermore i think it is reprehensible of Fox to air an interview with him.. his ex wife and Ron Goldman are not here to talk for themselves.

As for any book publisher, HarperCollins Publishing, I shall take great pleasure in making sure I never buy or read anything they publish again.

Simply amazing how he gets away

with things.

I have to believe he will get his due

The arrogance and disrespect of

writing about how he would have killed

his level of morality if any at all.

The only thing O.J proved is a well known Black person in Hollywood can do anything to a white person & get away with it. This has been true since Rodney King. The jury had him innocent the moment he walked into court. They were of the same mindset with Jackson. The liberals love this. The blacks getting even with the whites. One black jurier said "we evened the playing ground."Under California law you have to turn over any profits from any source of income to a judgement. Thats why O.J. has just been living on his retirement from the NFL. Any other money has to go for the judgement.

This, if anything, proves he did it. I think his book should be boycotted as well as his interview on Fox. Why should we give a murderer anymore attention? How can he face his kids? I feel so bad for them and now they have to deal with the details of their mothers murder, regardless if its a "fictional" book.

Amazing, OJ was found not guilty! I feel bad for the families of Nicole and Ron, because they will never really know the truth. The LAPD tried to frame OJ and didn't investigate real leads given to them. Not one piece of evidence presented by the prosecution was credible. But because of the past relationship between Nicole and OJ, popular opinion makes OJ guilty. Dr. Lee

proved it was a frame job.
