I'm pregnant but the company I used to work for is being tuped has been tuped over to a new company. My maternity had been all arranged with my old company but when I transferred over to my new employers they told me they needed another MATB1 form from me and needed me to complete their maternity request forms. The problem is that I began my maternity leave on the first of may which was one day after the new company took over. The new company sent me their maternity forms to fill in on the 3rd may and I managed to sent them back on the 8th May after I had another MATB1 from my midwife because my new company wanted a original MATB1 form and I had sent my original copy to my previous employer who couldn't return it to me because they destroyed their paperwork. (According to my midwife your only allowed one MATB1 form but she happily wrote me another during my appointment on the 8th). I sent this back to my new employer on the 8th same day so that they could sort my maternity pay asap. However its now the 18 th may , I'm due to give birth on the 27 th may and I still have received no information regarding my maternity. I know my new company has received my letter because I sent it by recorded delivery and it was signed for on the 9th. Not knowing whether I'll receive any maternity pay next month is starting to stress me out. Can anyone who knows more about tupe law or maternity offer me some advice please.
Thank you

You should not be disadvantaged as a result of the TUPE and your new company will have to pay your maternity pay as required by your previous terms of employment. I would suggest that you give them a ring about this and discuss the situation. Bear in mind that if a lot of people TUPE'd across then the company will be very busy trying to sort out the situation for those still working since they will be their priority.

whilst i replaced into pregnant I lived in my denims type Motherhood Maternity. I had offered 2 pairs, one that sits under the tummy and the different with the massive panel that is going over the tummy and you will tighten with a string. That final pair replaced into my well known! They have been so lovable and gentle. I hated the different pair because of the fact I continually felt like my pants have been falling down! previous army has some lovable stuff, too! And, in case you like Ann Taylor Loft, they only began doing maternity besides (in all possibility slightly greater expensive, yet i'm useful this is great high quality stuff). good luck!
