Me and my friend were thinking of funny ways to go through a drive-thru... Reverse, walking, etc. Then we came up with an idea to put the couch in the bed of the truck and the people sitting on the couch to take the order and pay and grab the food... Is that illegal at all in Utah?
Sorry if it's kinda dumb question, but I'm looking for legit answers!

First off Jack-o please learn the laws before you say about them. In PA the REAR PASSENGERS aren't required to wear a seatbelt if over 18. The FRONT SEAT has to wear a seat belt. Second the laws would be about being in an OPEN BED OF A TRUCK. This isn't about passengers, unless you somehow got the couch bolted down to the point that it was approved as a seat like any other passenger seats. Some States it is legal to ride in the bed of a truck IF over 18 and under a certain speed. A lot of States don't allow it though(other then farm use). So what you are going to need to look up in your Utah Driver's Manual is riding in the open bed of a Pick-up.

That's funny, but it's illegal to ride in the back of a truck unsecured. You might get away with it if you just change positions in the parking lot, and don't get on the road like that.

the only prob i see is seatbelt. however in pennsylvania, if the driver is 18+ one person doesnt have to wear a seatbelt so do it in PA.
