Your email address was randomly selected and entered into a Bonus Online Draw by our computer. After the Draws on April 25th, 2009, your email address won the sum of £7,871,010 (Seven Million, eight Hundred and seventy one thousand and ten British Pounds Sterling).
You were emailed by our Public Relations Officer who referred you to me.

After receiving your email, I submitted and application on your behalf to our Verification and Processing Officer who is an FBI agent, Agent William Gustav Donald. He further went ahead to verify your winnings and then asked you to Go to Germany.

However, he had pleaded with the National Lottery Director to allow for the documents to be mailed to you and he just got this approved. The director insisted that the documents be sent only by London Postal Service and at your expense. This is why you have been asked to send $200.

Agent William asked me to email you with details on how to receive the $200 and subsequently send the documents to you.

Your documents are to be sent by London Postal Service (LPS) only as instructed by the Director. LPS does not offer C.O.D (Cash on Delivery).

If you received a letter like this (and you live in US) this is mail fraud. The post office investigates mail fraud.

That is why many of the scammsters are switching to email.

You guess why they want you to send them $200. They keep the money. You don't get any.

Also, a US citizen cannot enter a foreign (like British) lottery.

Come on you can't possibly believe that some one is going to notify you by e-mail that you have won a foreign national lottery. Come on NOBODY is that STUPID!!! Nuff said

If you didn't enter it, it's a lie. And even if you did, they wouldn't send you a long email to inform you.

I can't believe people still fall for this stuff.

No. I get these stupid lotto things all the time. They are designed to sucker people into to sending them money who think they can get something for nothing.
