Hey /b/rothers maybe you can help me out here. But I lost my wallet today and I am suppose to be going to a Convention tomorrow ( Blizzcon)

What can I do to insure I can get my badge (entry key) and my hotel room?

I lost everything in my wallet, luckly no cash, but it had my ID, my bank cards, everything I really need...


Can I get a instant bank card from my bank? ( USBANK)

And can I get a new ID card from DMV? or does it take time?

I am going to call the places I was earlier today in the morning in hopes they can guide me to finding my wallet...


Any advice would be helpful, thanks =/

If you have a Passport, that can work as an ID card. Bring that along with a utility bill.

What ID were you planning on taking to the DMV?

If you have the right ID you walk in, wait in line, get a card. Took me twenty minutes last time.



I'd say your biggest worry is that since you've cancelled your credit card, and the hotel is fully booked, that the manager may very well actually confirm that the credit cards attached to reservations are valid. When yours comes up invalid, he might dump your reservation, legally since it isn't guaranteed by you. That way he can fix some over-booking or resell your room at a higher price.

definite, two times. And the two situations it replaced into stolen out of the cart on the keep (you may think of i might have found out my lesson the 1st time lol) the 1st time my I.D. coverage playing cards, young ones pictures, the 1st poem my husband ever wrote me....etc. the 2d i replaced into buying my babies shoes with the final 40.00 I had. I went to the provider table and my wallet have been back however the money replaced into long previous. i replaced into devastated that the money replaced into long previous (dealing with a very had time in my life at that 2d) yet grateful that i did no longer might desire to change all my I.D. back. I now shop my handbag and wallet in my arms everywhere i bypass. and you do recover from it....you're merely extra cautious (at last :)
