Personally i regret that i learned hindi at school, because i don't f***k use this language no where in my life and i don't intend to live in any hindi speaking states entire my life. i think as a bangalorean i can communicate in english & in all south indian languages. my point is why our states has embraced hindi eventhough it is not useful for independent people like south indians, because we are not moving to north india in search of job. indeed they are moving here to spread their filth around. instead of this our education system can introduce something useful like music, drawing, french, german etc. but why hindi????. do they learn any culturally rich south indian languages, HELL NOOO !! then why we should learn their language????? Do you think it is equality for all ???
Additional Details
The same applies to sanskrit as well. cos it is not used anywhere and it is a language of nomads. Tamil is an ancient language which is older than sanskrit. but why our states doesn't teach tamil/ telugu/malayalam to us. cos we share common border with all south states. rather than studying a language which is alien to our culture we can learn one of our southern language. i think south indians can even learn all 4 south indian languages cos we have that capacity. which in turn results in unity among us thus increasing coopearation and peace. ( I am not a tamilian. but i am glad to learn tamil instead of hindi. cos here in bangalore all tamil people when they come to bangalore , they learn and speak kannada in a short time. but north indians despite of living here for 10 years cannot utter a single kannada word.)
