I crippled someone in self defense, will I get charged?

So apparently, this 2 guys tried to mug me in an alley on the way to my house, one had a pocket knife while others Had an airsoft gun (I knew after he accidentally shot me) I panicked and ran to my home, once there I thought they won't follow me, but they did, I went into the Kitchen and pick up a clever and and I kept swing till I hit the guy with the knife Cut off his hand and I threw the meat clever and hit the guy with the airsoft gun and it hit his kneecap, and I ran to my neighbor and accidentally step on the clever I threw earlier which is still stuck in the guy leg and penetrated his leg, I think I might crippled him.

The police arrived and say I have await trial whether I should be charged or not?

I think you need to work on your story here, hero. Cutting off the first assailant's hand is sort of the highlight of the story, don't bury it in the middle where no one will notice it. Go ahead and put that little gory detail right up in the title of your next trolling question, front and center. Maybe something like "I severed a guy's hand in self-defense, is that a crime?"



Then you need to do a better job of accounting for the whereabouts of the meat cleaver because it winds up inside three different people. More amazing than the magic bullets that killed JFK. Stuff just plain doesn't go down that way. Your story is incoherent. Oh, and spell-check would be your friend, if only you would let it. Learn a few things about capitalization, too.



For the record, defense of self or others is a defense to the crimes of assault, battery, and likely even mayhem. But you have to be believed first and I, for one, am not buying this story.

i think you need to stop smoking crack. you dont care that you supposedly chopped off a guys hand, just that you might have effed up someones knee? in the creative spirit you put out there let me think.....the police failed to recover the hand that you chopped off because it moved on its own and hid out in your basement.... you go to bed. after you turn off the light you hear a scratching under your bed. thinking its your beloved pom, tipsy, you look under the bed and the wandering hand pounces on you breaking your neck and dragging your body halfway under your bed. happy nightmares

to my knowledge, I would think you would not be charged; usually. Although there have been cases that a burgler is hurt by the owners dog, they sue, and the victim pays...crazy, crazy world
